“Park(ing) Day is an annual celebration of creatively converting car parking spaces into tiny parks and places for art, play and simple enjoyment. It’s a unique opportunity to engage in ongoing dialog around how our cities are designed and built. Stop by for lunch or after work to take a look at what local artists, architects and others have designed! The day is intended to encourage placemaking and raise awareness about the importance of walkable, livable and healthy communities.”
