Shift Kidz
Shift provides a variety of year-round bicycle programming, workshops, and camps aimed toward educating and empowering youth. Through access and education we can offer resources to the next generation of younger commuters and cyclists.
Youth Summer Camps
Shift Kidz Youth Summer Camps offer kids an encouraging and enriching environment to explore bicycle maintenance and culture while building confidence in their own cycling skills.
There are three sessions per age group (8-12 and 13-16) in 6 sessions this summer. You do not need to own a bike to participate.
Each day, youth will participate in hands-on interactions to learn about bike safety, the cycling community, and cultivate joy around bike riding.
Activities include:
Bike safety and mechanics lessons
Riding practice and coaching
Excursions to local destinations
Learning about the local cycling community from a diverse group of leaders
Opportunities for artistic expression
Social connection with youth of all backgrounds
