Pop-Up Repairs And Community Outreach
We are mobile! Our facility has become a bicycle resource center for all of Lane County. Shift Community Cycles would be delighted to provide an assortment of our services and programs for your event. We realize that, in order to provide access to all, outreach is integral to those we serve. If your community event encourages active transportation and/ or bicycles we would love to bring Shift to you.
Not only can we be contracted to offer free repairs, but we also offer a myriad of other fun event ideas such as bike education/bike lock demos, bike washes, and upcycling bike art workshops. Based on your needs, we have the staff for different sized bicycle popups.
Using our E cargo Bike “Moondog” and our XL trailer ”Carla,” we can haul all that is needed for your pop-up while demonstrating the utility of a bicycle.
We’re your bike repair shop on wheels! Bring Shift programs to your event to serve as an additional draw or even as a main attraction!
Basic rates:
1 staff=$120 /hour
2 staff=$150 /hour
3 staff=$225 /hour

Whether you contract 1 or 3 staff members, the goal is to include an additional volunteer.
parts for basic repairs are extra and we suggest budgeting $50
Our most commonly booked repair pop up is $500. This contract covers a 2 hour event, and we request a 1 hour setup and breakdown fee as well as the $50 parts budget.
Our hourly rate includes suggested marketing. For example: social media posts, event placement on our website, and networking opportunities with our members, volunteers, strategic partners, and anyone else in our Shift network.
